Foxy Digitalis Mix Season 4, #6: Andy Aquarius

Andy Aquarius’s new album, Golla Gorruppa, is a dream, an exploration of our world – specifically inspired by his meditations on the Sardinian Gorropu mountain range – through an otherworldly lens. The Berlin-based harpist and singer crafts an ethereal landscape through emotive string passages adrift on gossamer, grey-hued melodies, celestial choirs, and electronic clouds. This music wraps itself around us with dancing cadences, sonic silhouettes lost in resonance. Aquarius sends out these vulnerable missives as though they’re quiet calls to an ageless spirit that comes to life in the enchanting corridors of Golla Gorruppa

Golla Gorruppa is out now on vinyl, cassette, and digital formats via Hush Hush Records. Listen and pick up a copy HERE. Listen to this fantastic mix he put together for Foxy Digitalis entitled Vespertine Ascent To Mount Gorroppeddu below.
