The new collaboration between Italian producer, Eraldo Bernocchi, and British composer, Christopher James Chaplin, is oddly hypnotic and, at times, unsettling. The Same and The Other is rich and varied, a haunted reverie across multiple parts. Dark atmospheres melt into muted rhythms that spell out secret messages within the cryptic undercurrents.
