Lighter is such an appropriate name for the collaborative project between Camilla Padgitt-Coles, Maïa Ibar, and Boshra AlSaadi because this music is effervescent and lifts us. Lithe melodic swirls are blurred into slow-motion meditations, built on air and ageless spirits. Anastasia Cazabon’s video heightens the expansive sonic journey with surrealist imagery, vivid lighting, and a sense of inner vulnerability on display. As a washed-out palette brightens into endless shades of pink, “Jalulu” blooms into fractal silhouettes. The tiniest moments become their own sonic universes, channeling radiant energy through every expansive note until we’re adrift in a timeless loop. It’s certainly beautiful here.
