For this episode of Songs of Our Lives, I invite Andrew Weathers on the show. Few people have been involved in more of my favorite albums over the last 10+ years, so I was thrilled to chat with him. Andrew’s a real one. We talk about a lot of pop punk, what made Roy Orbison […]
For this episode of Songs of Our Lives, I invite Aquarelle aka Ryan Potts on the show. After we talk a bit about his massively underappreciated 2023 album, Verdant Machine, we get into the goods and realize we might just be the same person. We ramble about how much the Ghostbuster theme bangs, the art […]
On this episode of the Foxy Digitalis Podcast, I basically talk about myself. I published the big year-end article on the site yesterday, so if you missed it – go check it out! This episode, though, is a recap of the things I was up to with my own work this year, including new albums, […]
Well, we made it. Sort of. I mean, it’s not like this arbitrary changing of the year is going to change, well, anything, but it still feels like we’ve crawled over some kind of finish line. As I say just about every year, what an incredible year of music. This list will be incomplete every […]
For this episode of Songs of Our Lives, it’s a Cult Love Christmas Special w/ Natty and Lauran! Cult Love Sound is a Tulsa staple. They’re a collective that runs a label, puts on shows and other events, promotes all things weird and interesting in town, and so much more. I headed on over to […]

Submerged textures give way to a liminal resonance, drawing us closer to the sound’s inner source. Celer’s music is shapeshifting. Glowing chord progressions feel like they’re breathing as […]
Louis Carnell’s 111 series has already taken us on a memorable journey, but it’s barely a third of the way toward the destination. Made up of 15 stellar collaborations, Carnell is slowly revealing each sonorous gem across the span of months, slowly sharpening the project’s impact. On the latest, “six,” he joins forces with Kenyan sound artist […]
Serebii’s beguiling new record, Inside, creates a lush and varied sonic landscape that welcomes us into his world through an engaging mix of styles and sounds. Folk elements blend seamlessly into liminal electronics, the New Zealand composer and producer arranging each vivid detail into a delightful aural narrative. This music has a pristine surface, but is […]
Stefan Christoff has released or been part of so many wonderful releases in 2023, and in his second mix for Foxy Digitalis this year, he does not disappoint. Off the back of a stellar collaboration with Adriana Camacho, Christoff shares selections from new and recent works out of Mexico City. The breadth of the music is incredible. […]
