Fried music for fried times and fried dreams. I sadly lost track of all the various joints Matt Valentine was up to for the better part of the last five years, but when I started digging back in, Wet Tuna grabbed hold hardest and I’ve been obsessed since. Eau’d to a Fake Bookie Vol. 3 is the third (duh) in an ongoing series of gooey blues meanderings that sound like transmissions straight from another astral plane. Grooves drifts like smoke while guitar solos shred through haze on “Silent Partner” while “Walk On” lets the sun blast in and bleach your brain. Anything these guys launch is going straight into my veins. I need this.
