Danny Paul Grody’s work has gently etched a permanent mark on me. I don’t think I quite realized how much I feel his music in my core until I listened to his upcoming album, Arc of Day, at daybreak a few weeks ago. His music distills quiet moments into eternal aural expressions, calming yet forceful. It’s an impressive feat. Arc of Day, out next month on Three Lobed, is one of the finest entries into a stunning discography, and in this mix, Grody channels that same wonderful spirit.
