Emotive synth arrangements drift through melancholy, obscured by firework smoke, leaving us gazing toward the empty sky. Steve Salembier’s video slows our perception to a crawl with gently spinning, paper umbrellas floating above the city. It’s like we’re stuck here, apart from the bright lights below, floating aimlessly into an unknown future. At least it’s beautiful here.
