Scarring oscillations churn from the depths, rising like sawblades cutting the earth into ribbons, building tension with every forward progression. High-frequency string repetitions squeal to life dropping dissonant spikes from above. Featuring additional production from Olivia Block, “Trepidation” singes the ether like its flash paper, always moving against the current as electronics fracture and darkly melodic drones sludge forward. An incredible piece of music.
