Phantom melodies blur into opaque visages, reflections of slow-moving trauma infused with potent memories. Grinding oscillations are the ever-present sparks firing at a constant hum like bedrock being eviscerated in the name of progress. “Iridescent Dust” is haunted at its core but still laced with traces of the cosmos hiding in droning resonance and cryptic patterns. Giannone builds gravity through sound, holding our focus outward before pulling us back inside the void. Stellar.
