Voices surface from some buried frequency, trapped in tape’s amber, wind-blown and wordless, howling through Menche’s cartographic devotions and Coloccia’s stolen moments. Sharp textures meet the blurred surfaces of memory, water in all its states becoming the album’s temporal architecture: snow turning to stream, ice to echo, the past both fixed and fluid. These slow looping sonic structures gather like sediment or seasons, until time itself seems suspended in microscopic crystals of sound. What emerges is a strange kind of beauty: resonant drones bathed in ethereal light, Coloccia’s voice moving like mist through Menche’s high-fidelity territories, creating something that cannot be defined, only felt.
