On this episode of Songs of Our Lives, it’s Genital Shame! Erin Dawson’s black metal project has been revelatory to me. I’m not typically super into metal, but this project, and her new record, “Wellness Plan,” especially have their hooks in me. We talk into the themes behind it and plenty more before diving into Zeppelin, Michael Jackson, Nada Surf, Prince, Mount Eerie, Blink 182, Baths, Thursday, and loads more!
