We talked a lot about his magnificent new album, Hidemi, out this month on American Dreams as well as his other recent work that’s been focused on the Japanese concentration camps during WW2. Of course, a conversation with Patrick wouldn’t be complete without a discussion about collaboration and we dug into his album with Camila Nebbia as well. The episode ends with a reading from Patrick’s piece, Gaman, in the chapbook that accompanies Hidemi.
