Megan Alice Clune’s newest album on Room 40, Furtive Glances, feels like a secret. Voice memo recordings of piano improvisations that Clune never meant to be shared (until she came across them later and decided to assemble this record). They’re like sonic etchings of memories made real. It’s a beautiful collection of music that continues to surprise me.
