Whispered drones change shape and position, using subtle shifts in patterns and timbres to tether our spirits to the soil. “New Earth” fuses the natural and synthetic, finding base connections through intertwined sonic reflections. As chords rise and fall, the soft sounds of lapping waves elevate the underlying feelings and accentuate the song’s organic core. Urano’s restraint throughout is palpable, and because of this, in the moments where this music’s spirit breaks free, the landing has even more impact.
